What it does

PinWindow is a lightweight menu bar utility for macOS 14 and later. Pick any visible window with a crosshair or from a searchable thumbnail list, and PinWindow keeps a live, floating preview of it above your other windows — perfect for keeping a meeting, terminal, dashboard, documentation page, or reference window visible while you work in another app.

Permissions

PinWindow uses public macOS APIs only. Screen Recording permission is required to capture the windows you choose to pin. Accessibility permission is optional and used only to activate a preview's source window when you click it. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
